Cookie Policy

MetaPresence uses a limited set of cookies and browser-storage technologies to keep accounts signed in, secure the service, and remember product state.

Overview

This policy explains how FOUS VENTURES LLP, trading as MetaPresence, uses cookies and similar browser technologies on metapresence.co and within the MetaPresence application. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small text record stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which lets an application retain data on your device without sending that data with every web request.

Essential cookies

We use Supabase authentication cookies to create and refresh signed-in sessions, protect account access, and maintain authentication between page requests. Names may contain an “sb-” prefix and may be split into multiple records where a session value is too large for one cookie.

  • Purpose: authentication, session continuity, and account security.
  • Category: strictly necessary.
  • Duration: session or persistent, according to sign-in state and token expiry.

These cookies are necessary for signed-in features. Blocking them may prevent login or cause the application to lose your session.

Browser storage

Some product features use local storage to remember choices or draft workspace state on your device. Current examples include connected-tool selections, workforce-builder state, and locally retained CRM, task, or knowledge interface data where those features use local persistence.

Local-storage entries remain until the application replaces them, you clear site data, or the related feature removes them. They are not cookies and are not automatically sent with every request.

Third-party services

When you use a third-party checkout, embedded communication feature, or linked service, that provider may set its own cookies or storage records under its domain. For example, Paddle may use technologies needed to provide checkout, prevent fraud, remember buyer details, and support transactions.

Third-party technologies are governed by the provider’s notices. For Paddle purchases, review Paddle’s Privacy Notice and the information presented in Paddle Checkout.

Analytics and advertising

We have not identified non-essential advertising or cross-site tracking cookies in the current MetaPresence web application. We do not currently use cookies to sell personal information or build third-party advertising profiles.

If we introduce optional analytics, advertising, or personalization cookies, we will update this policy and provide consent controls where required before those technologies are activated.

Your controls

Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies and site data. You can also clear local storage through browser privacy or developer settings. Controls vary by browser and device.

Removing essential session cookies signs you out and may interrupt active work. Browser “do not track” signals do not have a consistent legal or technical standard, but we do not currently use cross-site advertising cookies on the service.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our use of cookies, browser storage, or providers changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision.

Questions about cookies or browser storage can be sent to privacy@metapresence.co.
